Alternative Apprentice Program

Wages and Benefits

To determine pay an individual will be asked to have their electrical skills evaluated. There are six (6) different levels of pay that an Employer is willing to pay under an apprentice roll. Each level of pay comes with a percentage of contribution to various retirements and death benefits. Health care is also paid in full by the Contractor and coverage will include not only yourself, it will cover your family as well. Wage advancements will be upon completion of collected on the job training hours (OJT). The 6th period of pay is considered the top period of pay. To advance to the Journeyman Level one must complete all required classes, OJT, and a State Journeyman License.
